Ben Horowitz you are right. Culture is a living experience a company. It is something that evolves over and take constant pruning. It requires the CEO to constantly check that is taking hold and preventing what I call, “transported culture” from creeping in. I have your book on my list. I can’t wait to read it. At my company we wrote down some tenants about what we liked and didn’t like about our previous companies to help shape what we wanted our culture to be. For instance no BS, no politics. When we saw it creeping in, we would search it out and remove the people who brought it with them. It’s a hard process that all CEOs must keep in mind as they grow their companies for sure. So, in addition to our values, mission, we wrote a culture document to help guide people’s behavior. #ceoplaybook
